Laundry detergent....
So as I was buying detergent for my little one I was thinking well if were buying a detergent that's free of perfume and dyes for our baby then should we use it as well? Since baby will be in our arms a lot and around our clothing. ..right now we use gain because we love the smell and I'm a sucker for great smelling detergent but is it in our best interest to stop using it?

I'm about to have my third and I've never used special detergent with any of my kids. Some kids have really sensitive skin but my kids were fine. I would think like you said if you were to use the special detergent for the baby you would need to you use it for your clothes and bedding as well.

I would only go through the trouble of switching out all detergent if as pp said, my baby had an allergy to the one I usually use. The general rule for baby clothes is just no fabric softener and dryer sheets (because it makes it flammable)

Thanks guys! I think I'm just going to use the detergent I got for all of us just to be on the safe side but who knows...
Oh and for anyone that's having trouble using this app because of any problems accruing I just turned my phone off and back on and it was fine! Before I couldn't like anyone's posts and it barely let me do just about anything on here. But rebooting my phone did the trick!

I have sensitive skin but detergent doesn't really effect me all that much! I really love my gain detergent lol

I used dreft for my first. With my second too through the first bottle then just switched to our regular detergent. With this baby I've just used our detergent and will unless I see any problems with it.

I always used my own detergent with my first u til she got eczema like 6 months ago. Or more. Now I use all free and clear and I'll use the same on this babies. Since I already have it. Maybe after I'm done with our detergent I'll start using all on ours too. Just because its easier.

I've never used anything other than what I normally used. My SIL did the same but our nephew developed a rash so she got Dreft.

I used dreft for a while with my first. But this time around I'm just going to use the same
Detergent we use. And of course if any issues arise I'll adjust and buy her a special kind.

I use all free and clear for mine and hubby's clothes

I use all free and clear also for all if our clothes. It's silly to buy two different kinds of soap. I might try making some like one of the mommies on here. It will save so much money!

My husband and my kids have sensitive skin, so we use all free and clear for everyone.

We use Tide Free & Clear for the entire family.

We use normal detergent and fabric softener. Its def a personal preference but my kids have never had sensitivities to anything.

I would just stick with your normal detergent and if she gets a skin reaction, then change it. Gotta toughen her skin up ;) Lol.
