If you are looking more for a purse style (like I was), I recommend Rebecca Minkoff, Mark Jacobs, Betsey Johnson, Coach, Danzo or Timi and Leslie (which is a little cheaper). I got a Rebecca Minkoff one and LOVE it. I was even gonna use it for traveling because it is so cute!! I would rather pay more for something that is good quality and that I will actually enjoy using. I don't think there is a "right" amount to spend in order to get a good quality DB, though?

I still have my skip hop studio in black dot. I think I paid close to $70 or $80 for it? I can't remember, it's been too long lol. It's still holding up really well and it looks brand new :) it looks more like an oversized purse than a diaper bag and has a anti-microbial pocket for anything that gets yucky. I also like that it has metal "feet" in the bottom to keep it off the floor. Love my bag :)

I saw an Eddie Bauer one that is grey with like green accent or black with lime green (not positive ) but it seemed to have good reviews and it was only around 40 dollars..may try that one out!

My husband bought me a Storksak diaper bag for Christmas. It is so cute and looks more like a purse.

I just bought the Skip Hop Studio in pewter a few hours ago. It was $70 on hayneedle.com. That is more than I would ever spend but I was looking for one and my MIL gave me $50 toward a new diaper bag for Christmas. My old one was a plastic-looking I-can-definitely-tell-that's-a-diaper-bag diaper bag with my first two. I got it as a shower gift and the line is now torn so I wanted to get a new one that I thought I could use beyond baby. I generally quit carrying the big diaper bag around the time baby turns one, if not before. People said it has a lot of room and I thought it looked trendy and cute - more purse like.

My sister bought me a really cute Betsey Johnson diaper bag from I think Burlington but I know Ross carries them too.

Check out Timi and Leslie. Fair price and come with a ton of extra accessories. I also love my Marc Jacobs and PPB.

Look on zulilly.com. They have several to choose from for reasonable price. I think the ones with the clear plastic like covering are they best because they don't get dirty.

I have a petunia pickle bottom bag from my first daughter. It's great- fits lots of stuff but I do think it could be a little larger. I like the backpack straps when traveling. Super functional and cute! I just got a Kate Spade diaper bag (Stevie style) for Christmas and it's so stylish and nice!! I love it. I can't remember petunia pickle bottom price but it was probably at least $100. The Kate spade one was like $250.... But it's so pretty!!!

I have a coach one. I got it at the coach factory store. If you sign up for the emails through coach you can get exclusive deals from the factory outlet online. They only do it every few months. They are authentic, I have many from there. I love it. Everyone loves it. Leather lasts forever and I can sell it when I'm done since it's coach.

I'm getting the skip hop versa.. My limit was 50.00 being that it will be used and abused between cars, daycare, and such lol. I faced this dilemma with my first! I have ADD when it comes to purses and knew I can't afford to do that with diaper bags too. My favorite is jujube. I have a BFF, be prepared and planning to get a hobobe soon. The organization is great, its machine washable and they all come with a "mommy pocket" for wallet, sunglasses, makeup etc. Also has a protector pocket for cell phones. I hate purses or bags with black interior since its hard to find anything. made that mistake with my 1st diaper bag. Petunia pickle bottom is another great brand and there is vera Bradley too. Depends on how much you want to spend. I've been using my BFF for almost 2yrs and it still looks brand new :)

I've seen several cute diaper bags made by Kate Spade! You should check those out! If I didn't get the diaper bag I wished for (for Christmas), I was going to buy a Michael Kors regular pink tote (I'm having a girl!) to use as a diaper bag!
