I had mastits 5x before my lo was 4 mo old. I took lecithin 3x a day and that helped. Mastitis is AWFUL

They didn't make me pump (obviously recommended it and a schedule) but I pumped every three hours!

Haha I may actually have closer to 500 oz but I got that Much because I was making WAY too much milk for the first 3-4 weeks! I was pumping 10-12 oz every 3 hours!

you have no idea how many times I almost quit. I even started spacing out my pumpings as far as I physically could a few times to start trying to dry up but then I always said "nope I can't quit" and would go back to trying. It was so hard because he was so little he couldn't even latch without a shield and even when He did latch he was too little to get enough milk! I would just cry saying "I can't do this anymore, how am I supposed to do this?" I was so sick of the physical pain and the mental and physical exhaustion! I honestly can't believe I love it like I do now with how much I hated it that first month!

I think the pumping was worse than anything lol luckily I haven't had to pump for weeks and have 400 oz frozen for those occasional bottles.

i am having a "feel like quitting" day

dd has a bad latch which i am correcting every feed

she is 16days and i pump so i can bottle feed also breast feed i am mentally n physically exhausted as i also have a 17m dd

but i am not ready to quit just gotta work harder i guess :)

iMOSS, he was born October 21! He's 10 weeks on Monday. So 10 weeks but The first few days were only pumping since we were in different hospitals and then i could only attempt bf him 2-3 times a day while he was in the NICU (he was there 2 weeks) but once he came home and got bigger so he could actually do it I slowly started trying to bf more and pump/bottle less. For about 4-5 weeks now I've been exclusively bf except for the occasional bottle here and there

The first month was horrible for me honestly though! I debated quitting every single day! But I'm so happy I didn't quit. Hang in there!!

Thank you! It is amazing! I had a really hard time getting regulated in the beginning, ended up in the hospital with mastitis and was just miserable! I almost quit but just couldn't quite let myself! Now I'm so so happy I stuck it out :) it makes me so happy!
