I see a lot of you want that baby out before 40 weeks! You want to get induced or have a c-section? You should read this…

I was induced at 37weeks for medical reasons and baby was born via emergency c section

I dont want mu baby out b4 40 weeks BUT both my babies came right at 37 weeks and this one is right around the corner any min im 36 weeks 4days.

I have a section scheduled at 39 weeks because I’ve had 2 sections in the past, none have been elective. My first was due to pre e & since they haven’t let me try... The article isn’t bad at all though, good information for moms.

Hey Mama. I'm sure we all want 40 week gestation babies. But that will all change sometimes wants your toward the end of your pregnancy and you can barely catch your breath or your ankles are swollen all the time ugh. I would love for my baby to make it to 40 weeks and maybe this time he will but right now I'm 26 weeks let's see if I say different once I get to 37 weeks. With my first child I was just so happy he made it to full term when he decided it was time for him to come on out

Great information I'm 30weeks I got 9weeks5 days left I know labor can't be Rush I'm so ready to have my son I just have to pray and have patience because I am tired and in the last couple of weeks that's when it really hit you LoL in my baby boy's worth the wait 🙏😇👣💙

Not everyone wants full term babies. I've seen people say otherwise, just bc they don't want to be pregnant anymore or don't want their baby to be too big. I even said the same thing to my husband last night- "a couple weeks early would be fine by me!". I'm changing my tune. I want her to have the best development possible, no matter if I have to sacrifice breathing or walking for a few weeks lol.

@danatabb81 my son came at 37.5 weeks I went into labor the night before and had him the next afternoon. Sometimes it's when your baby comes out. It's nothing we can do when they are ready to come out. And the post before I meant to say once* not wants lol

Fyi to everyone, I just posted this because it's good information and I thought more people should know.

It doesn't matter when or how you had your previous babies, I just thought everyone should know those last few weeks really are important and to hope for the best!

I went 41 weeks with my daughter. I will be 39 weeks Monday so we'll see with my son

Sorry not sorry.... But I think it’s selfish and stupid of women trying to induce labor before time. I understand if there is a medical reason or have a c-section schedule but to induce labor cause you’re too tired or shit like that gets my nerves. Babies need time to cook and many of us know that pregnancies can be tough. All I see in here women complaining and asking or saying they wanna induce labor🤦🏻‍♀️ smh...

@bbhausfeld77 there are still some doctors who allow elective inductions. Or who will push an early induction that isn't medically necessary

Do you guys know anything about the risk of having a stillborn? I heard someone say that after 38 weeks the chances creep up, but shoot up after 40 weeks. I only saw 1 study, and would be curious to know more. Not sure if anyone else has heard this?

If that was the case.... they wouldn’t recommend 40 weeks at all🤦🏻‍♀️Just saying🤷🏻‍♀️

@teachmamabri your right by doctor won't allow you to go pass 49 weeks after 40 weeks there is a higher chance if still born and infection... I don't see why doctors let ppl go. Pass 40 weeks
