Need some advice ladies: Long post (sorry)
my boyfriend and I have recently broken up. We have a 15month old daughter and I am currently 22 weeks pregnant. I moved out a little over a month ago and am now living with my parents. To this day since our daughter has been born he has yet to buy any type of clothing, shoes, etc. He has bought one pack of burp cloths, diapers, and formula/milk once and a blue moon. He gave me $70 over a month ago to “put towards” expenses. Nothing since. He has never been anywhere with our daughter by himself nor has he tried to take her anywhere. Since his mother moved back in town that’s when our problems began. Long story short about his mom. His mom has previously given his son nighttime medicine for him to sleep at night and during the daytime before a car ride so he’ll sleep. She spanks his son, and yells at him. My ex does nothing to correct her. I am not comfortable with my daughter being around her without me around. Even with my ex since he sees nothing wrong with what his mother does. I told him he can come by my parents house to visit Our daughter anytime but as for him taking her I am not comfortable with. Am I wrong for telling him he can come visit but can not take her? Too many things happen to kids nowadays and I would never forgive myself if something happened to my daughter and I could’ve prevented it.
Thanks ladies I appreciate your input
I don't feel you're wrong at all because I have 2 boys an one on the way an I never let them go with anyone because you can't trust everyone with your child. An if he's not making effort to come see her on his on then don't try an make him just make sure he's helping you out financially
I would say put him on child support but if you don’t want him taking his daughter I would do it the way you have it now. Ask him to just come see his daughter at your house.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Am I wrong for not wanting anybody to ride my sons bike but him hes 3 and he has a auntie who is the same age as him but I dont want her to ride it either...
If you put him on child support you will have an agreement or you’ll go in front of the judge. More than likely, the you’ll share custody and he will have the rights to take his daughter (during the dates the court decides) that’s why your situation is tough. It sounds like he isn’t taking responsibility and helping out with costs so putting him on child support will help with that. BUT it might also affect if you don’t want him removing the child out of your watch.
Try to have proof of his mother’s behavior just in case you go to court. This way he cannot bring her around.
Good luck! ❤️
