Bottles are boiled! One more thing to check off my list! It was disgusting to see how much junk was in the water afterwards. I probably won't boil them after this. I only boil them before first use. Soap and hot water works just fine for me. ?
I boil until maybe 3 months? Then I switch to only dawn and hot water. We used Dr browns for the first few months and those are a b**** to clean! Boiling was the only way. Around 4/5 months I switched to avent and we have not looked back. My kids never take avent as newborns :( that would be so much easier tho!
Yup soap and water or the dishwasher works fine in my house. ? Nipples I get a little more picky about because they don't come clean as easily with soap and water.
I actually got all of those bottles for probably around $20 off of amazon. They're Medela bottles but they are the hospital packaged ones, not the ones you buy in the cute newborn bottle sets. I chose this kind because they are connectable to a pump I currently own and there is an adapter available to buy to connect the medela bottles to the spectra s2 pump on amazon as well. The larger bottles are meant for pumping and storing, the smaller ones for feeding.
@pp yeah babies are all different lol. If the medalas aren't his favorite, it's not a big deal since I got them for a killer deal so I'm not down a lot of cash to buy others. I got 10 of the small ones for about $12 and 8 of the large ones for about $12 as well. ??♀️
