Road trip prep. So and I are going to my grandma's this weekend and he requested 7 roast beef and turkey sandwiches for the 3 hour drive.
There is mustard all over these pp, come on over
Sounds like my husband.
It's not always a gluttonous situation ?. My dh is super fit, works out multiple times a day and has like 7% body fat. He could totally scarf down 7 or 8 sandwiches in a few hours on the road.
It's totally not fair! I have to be really strict with my calories.
Yes it is. I haven't tried it, looks like squid to me lol
I ended up only making 8. I'll probably eat 1 or 2 on the drive. He works 12 hour days and eats his "lunch" around 9am, so he'll probably eat a couple right when he gets home. The rest might get eaten or they might not.
His eyes are bigger than his stomach, so I don't usually make the amount he asks for, if I do he ends up with a stomach ache. If he is still hungry after he eats what I make then he can get himself some more.
He works out 2 hours a day and we take family walks every night, so I'm sure it's just his metabolism.
The roast beef is delicious, definitely recommend
We drive from fl to ny once a year. I only make about 8 sandwiches in total and thats for an entire family of 5 ( hubs is active duty navy ) and believe me we always have about 2-3 left over. Thats alot of food in on sitting...plus the cars in motion. I pray he doesn't get sick. Have a safe trip!!!
He's a bottomless pit.
The roast beef is the Costco brand
I could eat 3 or 4 in one sitting.
My husband could eat all 7.
