Does your city not have bylaw?? Ours states you cannot be parked within 18" of the driveway part that you come up on. If it is we are able to call and they will get ticketed. It's an option if they don't stop it for u

In our old house people ALWAYS blocked my driveway ! And I lived in NYC so parking was almost impossible so we really needed our driveway. They would even block our cars in I would have to drive onto the street to get out. I would leave notes and everything after awhile I just started calling the cops they would give them tickets and once the ticket was put on the car I would call to have the cars towed. I had signs everywhere that said do not block drive way but no one cared it was a different car every day once in awhile a neighbor. But calling to have them get a ticket and towed was enough for me I was a sahm so I had plenty of time to watch and call.

We have one vehicle and a driveway and two street parking spots between my house and the neighbours. They have two vehicles park one on their driveway and the other in the middle of the two parking spots so their company is always blocking my driveway. It's super annoying.

Then I have my other neighbours who ask f they can park in front of my house like yes! Please do, at least then I won't have to squeeze in and out of my driveway.

People are just rude and op you were being nice. They shouldn't be into your driveway at all. Most city's have bylaws on this if not state laws!

Def leave the garage bins there or get the pretty little fence or bricks or maybe even those solar lights for "decoration" the neighbors behind us leave all hours of the night and then they have family that ride their atvs up and down the road right by my kids rooms. Once I turn my porch light on and open my door screaming they take off (we also live in town so they shouldn't be riding) hubs tells me to stop cause they are drunk and they might try to come back and hurt me or kids so I stopped the screaming part and just turn on lights! I feel you on the annoying inconsiderate neighbors? maybe we should all just move near each other we would be such respectful neighbors towards each other and life would be a little easier on us!

I could fit 5 cars in my driveway alone and I have a garage (so 6 cars). They can fit 4.

We own the house. I am sure their mother owns that house as well. Separate driveways. Both of our drive ways are huge and separated by a fence. So no reaching out to landlords lol.

We have assigned parking here and whenever people take our spot I am on the phone calling for tow.

I do the same thing with my neighbors. We only have the two cars and they have like 4 or 5 to their tiny ass duplex because there's 95 people living there. I hate them. And they KNOW we don't like them. We called the cops on their dogs enough to get them taken away (or they realized it wasn't gon happen). And I will gladly walk my ass outside and tell them to move from in front of my house. Mind you they do happen to have a back parking spot they can use .

I would contact the landlord if they don't move after the note and maybe a talking too. That's just rude. You pay rent as well to have your spot. I would even take pictures and use them as proff they are using your side... When I first moved in to my new place my neighbors would have there daughter park in my drive way. I would park on the street to save dh a spot once he got home. Limited parking on our street and only enough room for one car in the drive way. Well the first time she did it I was outside. She looked at me and pulled the "oh I didn't know anyone moved in yet" yet I had chairs and lawn decor set up and sitting outside! So obvious someone had moved in. Then she did it again a week later. Saw her though my window. Only this time she stayed in our driveway for over a hour. So I had to knock on our neighbors door to get her to move. Dh was on his way home and I wanted to pull into my spot. She had the nerve to say "Well you're not using it and I have kids" I kinda snapped and said doesn't matter its my side and theres penty of parking on the street in front of her moms side. That I have kids as well.... Told her if she parks there again I'm calling a tow truck and contacting the landlord... Then a few weeks later her mom blocked me in 3 times in one week. Parked side ways blocking in both cars in the drive way. Again took pictures. I bangged on her door. Didnt ask but told her she needs to stop blocking me in. That I shouldn't have to knock on her door to leave the drive way...She then had the nerve to say I'll only be 10 more min. I told her no you have 0 min and need to move her car before I back into it. Had a older car at the time and was being petty. But I was sick of her crap and her thinking she owned the drive way. After that she never blocked me in again or have her dd park in my spot... Some pepole you just need to be a batch to get the point across... Sorry my comment turned into a rant. Lol

@ray wow I just b**** ed about the same damn thing to someone on FB! I swear these ppl just started renting like 2 months ago, they have like a million ppl living at their house, there up all hours of the night, and they're CONSTANTLY drinking on the lawn. The main guy that lives there has a mustang and you can hear his exhaust coming and going from a mile away. Also I'm so over their lil chihuahuas barking all. Day. Long. The other neighbors can't stand them either.

Growing up we lived next to a Portuguese club(my parents still do). Our driveway was on a tiny side street. They tented the large parking lot for the feasts each year so everyone had to park elsewhere. They would park everywhere. Including in front of our driveway.? So facking annoying. We had no choice but to go over there and figure out who it was so they could move it.

This reminds me.. I live in an apartment so parking is really close and one of my neighbors took a Jack in the Box cup out of their vehicle and left it on the sidewalk. I didn't see them do it, but I know they did it because I saw the exact cup in their cup holder the day before. I'm debating if I should put the cup on top of their car and write a note saying they left their cup on the floor ?is that mean? I don't like people who litter!

I have been watching to see if they leave. I'm gonna run out to talk to them. I hate leaving a note. But it was late...

Railroad ties/logs! Seriously did this at my moms and her neighbors got the hint. ? the people across the street starting calling the cops cause they ended up in their yard. The moved out shortly after the cops came three separate times.

This used to be my life before I sold my house. I used to put our trash cans and recycling in that spot so they couldn't park there.

Also the person across the street from my house drove a tow truck. Which he parked right across from my driveway. It was impossible to leave with them both.

Put a fence up between the drives then they have to park on their side!

And pp their a mixed family. The boyfriends are Mexican and the women look Caucasian. I think the mom owns it and her girls and their boyfriends live there.

I have a pretty big cars. It's an Impala SS and the other is a Tahoe. If I had a compact it wouldn't be so bad.

Just kidding, we don't have a station wagon, but my BIL will park his corvette in a similar spot and the neighbor complains if it's an inch in her driveway. She's fully capable of getting in and out though, we have big driveways.
