Advice Needed!
So I know that after 20 weeks you’re not supposed to sleep on your back. That’s fine, I’ve always been a side sleeper anyway. But how about laying in bed or on the couch? Like watching tv or reading. Is it okay to be on my back then or should I lay on my side?
You definitely won't do any harm laying on your back! Listening to your body is the biggest thing.. If you start to feel lightheaded or dizzy, move to another position.
As baby grows, laying on your back can compress a major blood source and lower your blood pressure making you feel faint.
Thanks Katie. Nikki it’s due to too much pressure on an artery I think.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and all 5 Dr's I've ever seen say there is nothing you can do or not do that cause the babies cord to wrap around the neck... Certainly not sleeping on your back. Another old wives tale like lifting your arms above your head will do the same thing.. Nonsense.
