I had to have an induced miscarriage and I had to take it and it was the worst 12 hours of my life

I'm not sure, This was my first miscarriage unfortunately, first pregnancy, so I just did what my doctor told. And I'm glad I did see him after I thought I passed it because I hadn't. I'm assuming most doctors do when they find out you miscarried and have to do something to pass it. They want to make sure it is all gone to ensure your next trying process is a healthy one.

I took it last month. Unfortunately I had to take two rounds. It took 1.5 weeks to finally miscarry. The pain wasn't too bad. Cramps controlled by Motrin. The bleeding was heavy off and on but never where I thought I needed to go to the er. I had an ultrasound afterwards to make sure everything passed. I think that is pretty common. The emotionally trauma was the worse for me. Sending you luck and hugs

I also was prescribed misoprotol. My miscarriage was also not as bad as the stories I've read. My dosage didn't work at first when taken vaginally (4 tablets) then 12 hours later another 4 tablets. I thought I passed everything when I passed a tiny but big brown clot I guessed. When I went to the doctor for my follow up ultrasound I learned I had not passed it so was prescribed misprotol to be taken by mouth under my tongue that night. That worked and I passed everything with some minor cramping, heavy bleeding at times then off to lighter bleeding for another week and a half or so.

I have. My experience wasn't as bad as stories you can find on line. I only took Motrin for cramping and a heating pad. I didn't bleed excessively or noticed when I passed the sac - I didn't really look for it either. I liked being at home with my husband, I didn't like the light bleeding that lasted for weeks after.
