Please help. My best friend and I had our little ones just three months apart. Her daughter turned one in April and she sent me this photo with the caption "big girl exhausted from a fun day". My jaw dropped when I saw this. We are both first-time moms, however I researched car seat safety before my son was born and decided to Extended rear face him until past the age of 2. In California, starting January 2017, the law will require toddlers under the age of 2 to be rear-facing. However it's not the law yet. Should I say something? I know car seat safety is a serious issue but how do I talk to her about it? Help!
My best friend and I are very honest with each other. We don't care if it hurts the others feelings. Whoever is upset will eventually get over it, but that's how my best friend and I are. She would never post a status on Facebook being vague about who she's taking a stab at.
Tell her.
Just a simple, I love you but....should work. Good luck.
Thank you so much ladies for all the help. I will be deleting this soon because this is not a photo of my child.
Every few months I post info about carseat safety. I have several first time mom friends ( and most find it helpful). I posted my usual carseat safety post the DAY before she sent me this. The next day she posted all over her fb about "know it all moms, you look perfect on Facebook, but we know you in real life". Maybe I'm feeling defensive, but it felt like she was directing it towards me. But I know if I don't say something and something horrible happens to this sweet little girl I will never forgive myself.

Show us your car seat!! Here is Alaura current seat, it's the Safety first guide 65 sport. It's here until i can afford a better one lol! Rear face, rear face, rear face!!! it's is proven that children forward facing under the age of one are 70% more likely to snap their spine or neck in a Collison due to bones not being developed well. Rear facing may look uncomfortable but remember children are flexible and it's not miserable for them. Broken legs and living children and safer then snapped nec...
I can’t wait to put my son forward facing in his car seat 👌🏼four more days

What is some good rear facing car seats that y'all like 🤔 . I am considering this one but I am so concerned with safety is this a great car seat🤔. My son is only 22.02 lbs his height is 32 inches long so he has officially out grew his infant car seat. My husband don't want to have to purchase another car seat with this last until he is 10 years old 🤔?
Hey Momma’s! I know the age guidelines for car seats whn switching from rear to front facing. I did my research on it. When you finally started forward facing ur car seat, how did you determine whether you were placing it in the middle or the side?

"Oh my gosh, so cute she must have had a fun day! I'm not sure if you already know or not but I recently found out that the clip is safest placed up by baby's chest and I read an article that talked about the benefits of rear facing longer, if you're interested I can find it to send to you. I hope you're having a great day and maybe we can meet up soon!"
