Weaning support.
Ladies I need some support. Lo is almost 9 months old and has been biting me during every feeding. I've tried everything. But it is making it very difficult to breastfeed him because I'm so anxious. I was seeing a therapist for PPD and anxiety and stopped a few months back because things were better. However since my anxiety is back in full swing I've decided to wean lo. I'm devastated because I loved breastfeeding but now it is so nerve wrecking that I hate it. I miss the bond I made with lo. But i know this is what's best. My mental stability and health is most important . Lo doesn't have much interest in food but I have a freezer stocked with milk and my doctor gave me a plan to dry up my supply. I'm just so sad that this part of our bonding is over.
I'm also dealing with a 9 mo baby that bites or rubs her teeth in me while nursing! I understand the pain and stress that goes with it. I'm trying my darndest to stick it out but it's not easy. If weaning is what you need to do for your health and sanity, go for it. Just get in some extra snuggles if you need to. :)
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
OT. rant! forward facing early
ok, so in my birth month forum (October 2012) someone posted a picture of their lo riding in the car in a forward facing seat! what???? it baffles me when parents do this. I'm not trying to offend anyone.. but why do ppl do this?? the oldest baby in our birth month is 9 months, she was 3 months premature. but even at 9 months I wouldn't have my child forward facing.
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Ok so not using actual numbers.. But everyone knows I'm over weight since having my girls. It's no secret. BUT i was talking with my hubby last night and idk how we got to this but he said something like (not using actual numbers) no one should weigh 800lbs, they should take care of themselves. And i said so what if someone weighs 800lbs? He said no one should weigh that, they should be healthier. I said well i almost weigh 800! I'm in the 790s. And I'm healthy. I may be overweight but i don't h...
Thank you. It's been rough the last few days. I've been pumping and trying not to nurse him. So far I've failed at that and ended up nursing him to sleep last night. I'm so frustrated but I know in the long run this will be best. I appreciate your sweet words.
