Left: The day I got pregnant (at a friends wedding reception *brown-chicken-brown-cow*)
You're crazy adorable!!! I blew up like a blimp with dd. I got to 202lbs. All I did was nurse pp, no dieting or exercise, and I lost 60lbs. My dh doesn't remember me being "that big" lol when I show him my pants from right after having baby he doesn't believe I wore that size. I honestly think most men don't notice or care as long as everyone's healthy :) you're fabulous!! I know we are our own worst critic but you have no reason to feel insecure!!
Okay I have a few key points and I'm just going to bullet them.
1) Holy canole you're gorgeous pre-baby and now.
2) You're husband is also gorgeous (go girl!).
3) You're pregnant it is a temporary situation.. try not to let it bother you, right now you are two humans in one body.. how incredible is that?!
4) Yes I have generally akways been heavier than my partners. I like tall and thin and I'm um... not thin. Lol. While pregnant I was 60 or 70 pounds heavier than his dad.
I've always been bigger than him lol. He is lean and muscle and I've always been a thickums. It's what he likes anyways. I'm super insecure now though because this is my 3rd baby in 3years and I hardly recognize my body. After this one is born I will have around 100Ibs to lose to be my pre baby #1 weight and even then I was chubby lol.
I'm sure he finds you absolutely stunning and you are! Many men actually find the woman more beautiful when she is pregnant.
I've pretty much have always been bigger than my s.o. besides maybe 3months lol. When we first got together I was 200lbs and he was 145lbs. I went down to 140lbs for about 3months and found out I was pregnant and gained 20lbs and went into depression and gained another 10lbs. Started losing weight again to find out I was pregnant again (while on the pill). And gained 4lbs all together so far (26weeks) So now I'm 170 :(
I feel the same way you do. I am outweighing my fiancé by like 30lbs right now, weighing more than I ever have in my life. I feel like I'll never be the same. I realize I'm growing my sweet girl, but it's hard. I don't feel pretty, at all.
I know people think that we shouldn't feel this way, but I do. I am so grateful and blessed to be having my baby. It just takes a toll on my self esteem. But I know that my fiancé loves me, and my baby girl does too. So that's really the only thing that makes me feel better. ?
@diana thanks girl. I understand this isn't forever and my little man is going to be SO worth it. I guess I'm just struggling with it since I'm a ftm and new to the stretch marks, bloating and overall "big-ness" that pregancy brings.
Pp yes, he has strong Scottish roots. He also wore it to our wedding.
