What is Dirty Deleting and How Does It Affect You?

I've deleted some of my super old posts from when I first joined bb. Most of them did have any replies or were just dumb.

I've wondered the same thing...but I don't see anything wrong or "dirty" about deleting a post. It's just a term made up by people who like drama IMO.

I think it's when someone deleted their post when people don't agree with them

I hate when people delete threads with thoughtful responses because they didn't like the advice, or they delete all their posts when they get an answer.

When I first joined babybump I used to write long, thoughtful responses, but people would just delete them. We had one chick that would come to q4d and ask questions, get a handful of answers, then delete the thread and repost the same question. She said she wanted a fresh perspective, or that she didn't like the bickering, so she started over. There are only about 5 guys that post regularly on that board, and we recycle a lot of answers, because we get a lot of the same questions over and over. It's such a waste of time.

If you don't have the gonads to keep a post up after you write, don't bother.

All I know, is that when I read "dirty deleter" all I hear in my head is MJ's "Dirty Diana".

It's when someone makes a post And it completely backfires on them so they delete it. Then whenever someone mentions it they're like "That wasn't me, I would never say something like that!" Yea okay *cough*usMarine*cough*corps

I also think it refers to comments that they've deleted in a thread, whether they be controversial or what.
