For future reference - if you look in your owners manual, it will tell you how many miles you have left from the time the gas light turns on. It's normally around 35. I wouldn't have stopped for gas in that situation lol

So my car will got about 40 something miles after the light turns on, but less if there's a bunch of lights. Obviously, I don't know about yours but is there a less dangerous gas station that's not too far away; maybe near a Taco Bell ???

If it’s cold where you are you should. It’s not good to be low on gas if it’s under a certain temperature
