I'm a b**** Lately I've gotten a lot of calls for someone and have to keep telling people they have the wrong number.…

Ok funny story so my husband has this girl that is obsessed with him has been for years. She has some mental problems and I don't feel threatened so it's never bothered me... Anyway when she calls sometimes she doesn't talk just hangs up. Then calls again and again it gets irritating when we are in the middle of something.

One time when she called my hubby made the comment to my dad who was with us about it being his stalker. So my dad answered the phone and said he was auto body shop that just got a new number. He was a genius she stopped calling for a few months. While then she calls hubby's parents and his Mom tells her his number didn't change. Then she started calling again, alas I deal with it.

Honestly it won't be bad if she actually said something when she called. Or if she called once and if no answer didn't call again 5 times in 5 minutes. It's sad I know she is lonely and my hubby was one of the nice guys in high school.

Oh I'm a complete c*** about it.

To illuminate, I get a call from the same chick looking for the same dude once or twice a week for about three months now. My responses started out nice but gave gotten progressively more a****** -ish.

For instance, when she called over the weekend, I answered and started moaning. It went a bit like this:

"Oh. Ooooooh. Ooooh fack me daddy! Oh God fack me hard! Right there! Stick it there! Oh use your tongue! FACK! Oh daddy! Oh daddy! OH DADDY FACK ME!"

Haven't gotten another call yet :)

I've had my number since 07' and I still get calls for a girl named Nicole. I would answer and say "wrong number" they would call every damn day , so I started answering with " I am NOT Nicole" finally about 2 weeks ago I made my hubby answer the phone and since it was a make voice telling them wrong number... they haven't called since!

Lmao why would he bother telling you where he's calling from.. I would've got irritated too. I've been extremely mean lately..

I still get calls for "Alice". They are some really rude people too. They call and I say hello and they immediately start demanding to know who I am. I just say wrong number and hang up.

I've had the same number since 2000. The last few years I've started getting calls for a Patricia, including job offers! I keep telling them I don't even know a Patricia, but it'll be a few months and I'll get a couple more calls for her. I guess her number is just a digit or two off mine. It's so irritating to have to tell the same people twice though.

A lot if people used to call my number of a guy named Michael. I would tell them that they had the wrong number but try didn't stop calling so I started telling them he went to rehab for heroin they stopped calling. So I guess it was rather rude but worked!

Omg. I had a call the other day asking for a Sabrina. I said you have the wrong number and they replied "well is there a way I can get a message to her." I said back "I don't know who sabrina is so probably not" and hung up. Annoying.

Nothing wrong with bein a B!tc# when someone calls and has the wrong # and they keep trying to talk to you. I get that alot also for 2 different people...I even had someone call and ask for the person and I told them that this isnt so&so's phone # and then they wanted to ask who I was...Im not who you are calling for!! *click*

Im sure it was a scam artist trying to get me to give them information so they can try to steal my identity or money that I dont have.

omg that used to happen to me. I had someone by the name of Jamie's old number. her mom constantly called asking for money, her sister called looking for her for their mom. it was so annoying! i finally got in contact with Jamie when she called the old number to check her voice mail!

My cell phone number used to be one digit off from the local bus system. I'd get calls all the time about the bus. "I've been sitting here waiting for the #9 bus. Where it at?!" At first, I just told them they had the wrong number. After a while, I got annoyed and started giving bus advice. "Oh, that bus broke down. You'll need to go find a different one."

Oh selson don't get me started on the mail. I get packages for the old resident of my house. Not just mail but big boxes of stuff. The only way to send it back is to happen to catch the UPS or Fed Ex guy as they pass it go drop it at one of their locations. I have a big box for him in my house now that I've had a couple weeks. I've considered throwing it away...

The worst ones are when the person calling doesn't believe you.

"is Mark there?"

"no you have a wrong number"

"Did I call blah blah blah number"

"yes but you still have a wrong number" grr drives me crazy

I once had a drunk call me and told me he knew I was hiding his daughter. I had no idea who he nor his daughter were.

He cussed me the eff out, called me every name in the book. After he finished I said "no wonder your daughter ran away, you pathetic drunken dumbass." Then hung up.

He called 17 more times after that. I tried being nice and sympathetic at first, but you can't reason with a drunk.

I hate getting mail for others too. I bought my house over 4 years ago and still get mail for 3 previous residents. And they all have very different names so I know it's not a family.

One guy I am pretty sure just went to the hospital/doctor recently because all the sudden we got tons of medical bills for him. I returning them to sender saying not at this address. Then the next week I get more. arg... Yes I have told the post office, still didn't stop them.

Sometimes they're telemarketers! They start off asking for a random person then when you say it's the wrong number, they'll continue with their sales pitch. It's ridiculous and so hard to get off their "list"!!

Omg I have the same issue.

I literally get tons of text messages and calls from little girls asking for "Markell."

This is how our last conversation went:

"Hey Markell! :P"

"Wrong number"

"Who is this"

"Not markell"

"Stop playing"

"You have the wrong number. Please stop texting me."

"Ur a liar. This is markell"

I had to go off on her.

I'm usually nicer and just block the numbers but that was like the fifth text I got that day, on top of two phone calls. She kept calling and texting and I told her if she didn't stop I was going to call the cops on her. It was seriously that bad.

She stopped calling thank God. I hate kids. And this is why little kids don't need cell phones.

My dh got his new number and kept getting phone calls a messages for this one lady. So finally he just started texting back as if he were her. It was pretty funny.

I have had my phone number for 7 years now, and I STILL get phone calls for "Betty". She must be popular, because it's always different people. The calls have slowed the last few years, but the first 2 years were horrible! I almost changed my number haha.

When I was in middle school, we had just moved and got a new phone number. We kept getting calls for some guy in the middle of the night. my dad finally told one caller that he was in jail and they stopped calling lmao

My current number has had at least two previous owners before mW so I used to get all kinds of weird ass calls and texts. I ignores them but then I would answer and tell them it was the wrong number. I'd always get calls and texts from middle eastern sounding people and once I got a couple of call at 3 am which caller is said was from the Gaza strip!!!!

I got a f*** ing call at 11pm last night from a restricted number!! I was talking asleep when the f*** ing phone rang.... I didn't answer though I sent it to VM but who the hell does that???

I have the same problem except its texts and calls. I've told them repeatedly that this person doesn't have this number anymore. I feel you in the annoyance trust me! I've talked to the same person three f*** ing times in a week. And they even get rude when I say I'm sorry u have the wrong number their reply is "are we really gonna play this game again?" b**** f*** you I told u two days ago this isn't ur sisters phone stop calling and texting me!!!!
