Name pronunciation
Does anyone ever pronounce you, or your child's name incorrectly? Does it bother you? I've noticed that people have been saying my daughters name wrong lately, not butchering it, but a wrong vowel. It got me thinking, I wonder if she's going to have to correct people her whole life. They mispronounce the same vowel in my name every once in a blue moon, but not as often as hers.

My name is so easy, but my kids names get mispronounced allllll the time. I think it's because they're twins so everyone tries to make their names match. Their names are Rylen and Bradley, but when I tell people I get "Aww Riley and Bradley" or "Ryan and Bryan?", "Bryan and Bradley", "Ryan and Radley?" ??????

People mess up my fourth son's name. His name is said Lay-toh but people say Lee-Doh. Meh.
They also mess up my fifth son, Kai. He gets called Kay a lot.

I always have to correct people on my name.
I can count on one hand how many instructors said it right first day of class when they got to it for roll... and all of them were when I was in college. Lol
I always have to spell it twice over the phone too.
It doesn't bother me at all. I love my name.

I'm just Staci but for whatever crazy reason that "i" throws people off and I get stAci... rhyming with "lassie" quite a bit ?I've also gotten stac-eye. Two of my kids don't have a problem but one has his name mispronounced every. Single. Time. And I really didn't think it would be an issue. I'm super surprised!

People pronounce my name wrong all the time. It's Shonna (like Donna) but is regularly pronounce SHOWna when people see it. It's also misspelled regularly. My son is Aidan and people routinely spell and pronounce it's like ayDEN instead of ayDUHN like it's spelled.

Her name is Amara. Ends in "air-a" just like my name Kara. My sister, niece, and three cousins all end in ARA. All are pronounced with the "air-a" sound as well.
