Interesting day
Normally my life is super boring. I finally got to spend some time with my best friend today. Just the two of us, no kids. We went to go play some Pokémon and enjoy some nice weather. So we get to the Mile. We're walking around, catching Pokémon and talking to people that are there all the time. Her phone starts to die so we run to the car to get the battery pack. She ends up smashing her finger in my door and jerked it out. Her ring and middle finger were degloved ? It was bad. The middle finger was completely down the the bone.... like nothing but bone. Freak accident. I had an extra shirt in the car that she wrapped around her hand but there was still blood everywhere by the time we made it to the hospital. Er got her back immediately but they had to remove the rest of the first knuckle on both fingers since the bones were crushed. I feel so bad for her. Doctor said they can take a really long time to fully heal and the risk of infection is high for wounds on hands so she has to be very careful. On the way home though she said "wonder if I'll get 20% off when I get my nails done". ?? Then I remembered why this girl is my best friend. Also I found her finger skin when we got to her house. ?
Actually once they removed the tips we were out of there like 2 hours later. Her rx was ready before we even left the hospital lol
Dh and I still play. lol I grew up in red and blue days so I couldn't resist ?
Jane, that was how I expected my DAY to go lol

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

My 6 year old and I got our nails done today. She got her first manicure and they painted Olaf on her thumb! Some people have expressed that they think she's to young to be getting a manicure. I used the manicure as a bribe to get her to stop biting her nails and if it works...I'm going to keep taking her bi weekly when I go for a fill. I remember my parents not letting me get a manicure until I was in high school. Is it really so strange for a little girl to regularly get manicures?

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
Rant!
My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.
Omg ew ew ew ew ew ew ?
