Leather, easy to clean if anything gets on it.

We just got one I'm not sure what material it is but it's puncture and stain resistant

@cc that's what I was told at the store but I think there is different types of microfibre because my mother has one that feels different and cleans nicely. The one I have has marks all over it. Even from cleaning it. It's like I'd have to submerge the entire recliner at once to create an even stain lol

@lil thank you I was starting to feel like a weirdo ??

Leather and yes I'd say so. We are looking into getting a microfiber cover made for it though

I have microfiber and absolutely HATE it. It smells with 3 dogs. The couch is also feathers so that's another negative. Yeah it's comfy but my dogs already chewed up all the pillows that came with it and 4 of the back cushions. Facking feathers EVERYWHERE. NEVER AGAIN. our next couch will be leather

Microfiber and we love it.

I need to know why microfiber sucks ? I have had more than I want to admit happen to my couch (nothing "dirty" just kid throw up and that kinda thing ?). And nothing has stained if. Microfiber is known for wiping clean and being stain resistant?

I bought microfibre recliners, terrible. Leather is definitely the best.

Hahaa! Nope. It's a canvass material.

I have to put a spill proof cover over it for everyday mishaps.

Leather I just wipe it down with the cleaner and the honest spray

I think leather is definitely better suited to children. Easy to keep clean etc. We bought a new fabric sofa before Christmas and it is already looking worn ☹️

I can't believe people don't like microfiber for kids ?? what made it not kid friendly? Just the fact things can seep into the actual cushion?

I had microfiber and HATED it, definitely not kid friendly. I have leather now and I don't love it, but it's much more kid friendly.

Either all you can get people who will come and clean your couches based on the material like once a year. We have a microfibre couch and we get someone to shampoo the couches once a year. Brand new haha

Microfiber. Definitely not kid proof lol but it has been puked on and was relatively easy to clean. I don't allow the kids to eat or drink anything on the couch. Pros, super soft and warm. Cons, little random stains that I have no idea where they came from and can't get out.

Leather and they are pretty easy to clean

Microfiber. I would say it's pretty resistant. Leather would be the only other good one as far as smells are concerned because it's not going to absorb spills into the cushion. But I hate leather. How it sticks to you and it scratches easily. But you can wash anything out of the microfiber. I take the covers off and throw them in the washer. Wipe it down with a rag. Vacuum it. I also have four dogs so the fur struggle is real ? and it's easy to get the fur off.

Ours is leather. In the winter, they are cold and in the summer you stick to them. I hate them, however I can just wipe them clean, so with 3 little boys, they are pretty convenient.

It's leather. Durable. Cleans up easily. Comfortable too. I think the only "downside" is during the summer, if you're sweaty you basically have to rip your skin off to get up.

Leather and yeah its easy to clean. I usually wipe it down with baby wipes if anything gets on it.
