The bird hit my window so hard it left a perfect imprint of face, beak, wings and feathers.

Yep, it flew right back up into the tree and was sitting for a minute, and then took off again. It sounded like someone threw a baseball at my window.

@jj, at least the bird is okay lol. Probably would have scared me! A few weeks ago the same thing happened to me. A bird flew and hit my window and I'm just like what!? Lol.

I get that a lot on my patio door. I have a bird feeder and bath, and they get spooked by hawks or feral cats and panic. Thankfully they never get hurt?

And here I was trying to figure out why and how there was a light in the tree before I clicked and read the caption.
