Zofran? So my Dr. Prescribed me Zofran (melt in mouth) and they aren't helping at all...

It just depends on the person. Some people tolerate it really well, and others say it really didn't work well for them. See if your OB will let you take Benadryl. Many will give the ok, it's a pregnancy cat. B, and it's the active ingredient in Dramamine which is used for motion sickness, so it can help with nausea sometimes. Ask ur doc.

I was on it for two weeks and I was getting sicker come to find out I was allergic to it and it was making me feel worse then I was at first tell the to give u some promethazine that works so good

@neicey I hadn't thought that I was getting sicker and told my Dr. So he just switched me over to the swallow Zofran pill, I didn't even think about being allergic! I'll talk to him about that other one. Thanks!

Yes I am on the zofran as well and it doesn't help me either. Morning sickness started at 6 weeks. Now 10 weeks 2 days and this is the first day I haven't thrown up.

@rnbunny I was so sick I was throwing up every 5 hours for over a week, do they pumped me with iv fluids and gave me Zofran.

I felt better for 2 days (because the fluids) now I'm back to puking 3-5 times a day (including when I just drink water)

I take Zofran and Promethazine (or however the heck you spell that) and between the two they work great for me. I have hg and was throwing up litterally constantly before I had to be hosptalized like you to get fluids through an iv. Its no fun and I definitely feel for ya!

I'm sorry they aren't working for ya. From what I've gathered it's about a 50-50 and definitely depends on the person. I'd just tell your doctor they aren't working for you and I'm sure they'll try to find something that does. :)

I called and he wants to put my on another medication with the Zofran.

I can't remember the name but I have to take it I've a day right before bed.

I went to the ER earlier today, and was given Zofran. For me it worked really well, but I've heard it can cause constipation. I'd call your doctor and see if they can put you on something else (:

I didn't find it horribly helpful. It takes the nausea edge off a tiny bit but i was hoping it'd work a lot better

Me and zofran are BFFs right now. Phenergan (promethezine) helps too, but be careful. It'll make you sleepy. I cut my 25mg tabs in half and just take 12.5. I think sometimes they order reglan too. Not sure the generic name. That shouldn't constipated you like the others will. Good luck!

My doc gave me Zofran and while nausea is still a battle... I stopped vomiting and was finally able to start keeping food and fluids down. So that is a WIN to me.

He told me to stay on Zofran, but he also put me on Promethazine.

Zofran DOES make you constipated bad.
