Season the salmon with salt and pepper. Dredge with flour and drizzle honey over it. Sear it in a pan with a tbsp olive oil, 1-2 minutes per side. Pop it in the oven at 400 for 10 minutes. Meanwhile! The sauce..
Melt 4 tbsp butter in a sauce pan, whisking constantly until the froth subsides and it's golden brown. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tbsp honey, juice of 1 lime and salt and pepper.
Drizzle over the salmon when it comes out of the oven and squeeze it with a lime wedge.
Best salmon I've ever had in my life. Best salmon my SO says he has ever had. I can never eat salmon at restaurants anymore bc this is just so much better.
This is my favorite way to cook salmon!!
-2 salmon fillets
-1/4 cup soy sauce
-1 teaspoon lemon juice
-1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
(If you don't have fresh ginger just use 1/4 teaspoon of ginger powder and add more to taste)
-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
-Pepper to taste
-Preheat your oven to 325° F
-Mix together soy sauce, lemon juice, and spices
-place salmon in baking dish (skin side down)
-pour sauce mixture over the fillets
-bake for about 25 minutes...until salmon flakes easily with fork
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
Marinate salmon for at least 30 minutes. You can either cook it stove top (skin side down and then flip for the last couple minutes to caramelize the syrup) or bake it at 350 until flakey. I usually spoon the extra marinade over it as it cooks.
This is for 4 salmon fillets
2 tbs hoisin sauce
2 tsp honey
4 salmon fillets
1/2 lime
Salt & pepper
Stir the hoisin and honey together
Put salmon on a prepared sheet, skin side down, squeeze the lime evenly over the fillets; season with salt and pepper.
Place under broiler, and cook for 5 mins. Remove from oven, and drizzle each fillet with 2 tsp of the hoisin-honey mixture.
Return to broiler and cook until glaze is bubbling and salmon is cooked through. About 3-4 mins.
Super easy and really good.
Okay, this sounds crazy but my SO makes it and it is delicious. He learned of the recipe from his dad. Layer dijon mustard on the salmon and then crush up corn flakes, yes the cereal, and put that on top of the dijon mustard and bake it. It is so good! Or, the way I've always cooked it is just bake it and pour a lemon butter dill weed sauce on top of it. So good!
SALMON: place in pan, cover with olive oil, salt & pepper. (I also add fresh lemon juice)put in a *cold oven* and set the temp to 400. leave it for 25 minutes. Do not open the oven door the entire time.
