My 2 and half year old one loves being held. I literally ache in pain at night. I carried her for so long with ergo. People used to ask me if she could walk lol.
I wish I can still wear her , life was so much easier
Lefey, I use a ring sling occasionally with my 3 year old...but it's not a long term wear carrier for heavier kids. Great for quick in and outs...but if your wanting something to wear outside of that, invest in a woven wrap or a good toddler sized soft structured carrier like a Kinderpack.
Would a ring sling be a good investment for a toddler or no? My daughter is only 17 months but is 28 lbs and 33 inches. I'm thinking of getting one from Babyette off Etsy and she said an oversized one would work well for her. Do you agree or is there a better toddler carrier? I have the ergo but feel like she's a little cramped. Thanks! Cute pic!
Ashza....because she sometimes wants to be. Not very often but on occasion she wants some snuggles. I wear my 3 year old regularly..this was made for him. She was just a more willing participant for a photo OP.
Bazinga...no she doesn't. She's just easier to convince at home then the 3 year old is (plus this actually fits her REALLY well). He just runs from me unless we are at the store lol. Aga, Claudia and Justyna are AMAZEBALLS I love them. I'm going to get a slot for a half buckle wrap conversion.
Only if I use certain carriers Renee. It depends. There are carriers made specifically for older/heavier kids. This one for example is a 19x19, so the base where she sits is 19 inches and the body is 19 inches tall. As opposed to let's say an Ergo which is something like a 14x14ish
Does she stay in the carrier a lot. Like when ur cleaning and stuff is she fine hanging out? Just curious. I've been talking with the person who makes this, Madame goo goo to plan one for me. I just can't decide on the fabric bc it is kind of expensive and I want it to work for boys and girls for future children. She's amazing though, so nice and always responds to my emails.

What occasions do you wear her like this?

My back would hurt if I was carrying her with my arms. These carriers distribute the weight across your body. She's pretty weightless in this.

Kinderpack makes a toddler sized soft structured carrier that is pretty readily available..I have a couple of them. They are great!

Any recommendations as to where to get one of those? Any favorite sellers of yours? Thanks for the help!

She is so small for 6! If I put my 5 year old in one of those it would look like I was carrying a 10 year old lol

Why do you carry a 6 year old? Is it for hiking?
