@theirmommie, oh hun! I’m sorry! It’ll grow out and you’ll never even notice it was like that. I cut my son’s and daughter’s hair yesterday too but I botched the hell out my own. The kiddos look fabulous. I woke up still not happy with how it looks. I feel like I look older with how it’s cut now. 😢 I’m only going to be 25 this year...

I have curly hair, so when I get it cut i usually get layers put in it. Well...I cut my hair all one length on my own and now my hair is one length and puffy. I look like hermoine granger 😥

Well I grew up on the 80’s typical bowl hair cuts and all lol. Then when I was in high school I got a terrible haircut then I begged my mom to let me stay home because it was that bad. Of course I was made fun of for it. Called a lesbian and other not so nice words.

@tapwater, I would cry! I framed them to the side to bring it down all the way to the bottom not drastically but just enough to make it not look weird.

I got a haircut once and I had three distinct levels of bangs from my eyebrows up. The rest of it was this super choppy shag thing. The best part was before I could get it fixed elsewhere, I got my picture taken for my work photo ID.

I may or may not try to fix them later but right now; I’m not even going to try.

This was my bad professional bang experience. I’m the one on the right with blonde hair. They were sooo short. Lmfao 😂

@lady_rios, lol; every time I’ve cut my hair myself, this is the first where I had a bad outcome lol. I usually curl my hair with my straightener

@scoons637, boy is reading fundamental 😅 you totally said you cut your hair.

Do you have a curing iron, I still think if you curl those bits away from your face it’ll look more layered in with the rest of your hair.

But you didn’t do a bad job, I was expecting those bangs that are half an inch long...

@lady_rios, the stylist would be myself lol 😂. The bangs I can’t get to fade into the other part. They like go straight to my ear almost and it looks like so much bangs. If I straightened them out you guys would totally see how hideous they really are but that’s embarrassing. The length I’m not concerned with just those damn bangs

I was expecting horrible thick crooked bangs ... definitely not bad at all. Maybe you just need to adjust to the difference.

A few months ago I wanted to go blonde. I had the super bright idea to do it myself. I went to Sally’s, did the deed and my hair was ORANGE. And when I say orange I mean pumpkin orange 😭😭 I made my husband go back to Sally’s in the morning so that I could try a different toner. Long story short I killed my hair, and now it’s red to hide the dead ends 💀never again will I be cheap 😜 on the bright side I do like my red hair 🤗

@scoons637, looks like your stylist went super choppy. Give it some time and you’ll be fine! Maybe try straightening the bangs away from your face and sort of wisp them back?

Usually I straighten my hair but I won’t be for a while now lol. Curled or in a ponytail/bun it will be.

@kittywearingmama, I know. My hair has always meant a ton to me and I’ve only just began to make drastic hair changes in the last year but those were changes I chose to make that I didn’t regret but this one thing I highly regret.

@scoons637, it’s definitely hard since hair is a very big part of our appearance.

@kittywearingmama, it’s exactly what I keep telling myself. Only a few weeks and it’ll grow back and it’ll be fine. But damn it; I am appalled at it lol.

I'm pretty sure for the first 16 years of my life my hair was a disaster (thanks, mom). Don't feel bad, it will grow out soon 😉

As a hairstylist I’ve seen and heck even done some not so great haircuts. Don’t worry. It’s hair and does grow back! Live and learn.

@tee-uh16, I’m so sorry! In cosmetology they always said less is more. If they want more cut off then they’ll tell you if they want more cut but you can’t glue hair back. Which in my case; I so wish I could or at least cut it a different way

@yayacarrington, I’m sorry! It’s frustrating. I’ve had a professional cut my bangs so short that I couldn’t even pin them back. It was so embarrassing. But I learned my lesson this time; if I cut my hair again not to use that method ever again!

When I was 16 I let my moms friend cut my hair because she did hair for years. My hair was long, to my butt. Needless to say she did a whack job on my hair. There was nothing even about it. I had to go somewhere to have them try to fix it and they had to cut my hair up to my shoulders. 😭

I feel your pain. I hate my haircut. I wanted a few wispy bangs and she went scissor happy. I feel like half my hair is bangs!
