They named her "Duaa" (Muslim name meaning "prayer")

She didn't make it.

I'm crying my eyes out. My heart hurts so much for that little baby and her parents. We are burying her tomorrow.

They decided not to prevent it. Her water broke and her doc doesn't want to risk it for possible infection. I've called and called and told my dh options but they're deciding to go through with the delivery and hope for a miracle.

What are they doing for her to prevent labor??

I have a family friend who had their baby at 23 weeks and he lived! Still in the hospital, but he's doing great. Say prayers and try to be positive

She was dilated to a 4 about an he ago..

If she isn't contracting baby could still make it to viability! They can stop the contractions! My water broke at 14 weeks and we made it to 24 weeks! She was able to live a few minutes then passed because they couldn't get her on the vent but baby's lungs get a lot of development from 16 weeks on so there's still hope!

Her water broke and the doc told her she will for sure lose the baby. He or she is still alive and has a strong heartbeat. I'm so heartbroken!!
