Or... You could just use a nipple shield on both sides.....

Yeah but that's to establish bilateral lactation. If she only.is able.to nurse on one boob the other will not produce. So your basically having to exclusively pump from one breast and nurse from the other. I would however wait a couple weeks to introduce a bottle. I used Medela only the slowest flow nipple. She never had nipple confusion or got to prefer the bottle over the breast because of the slow flow.

If u wait that boob won't produce anything and you'll have one huge boob and one normal lol!

Totally doable. But this baby may latch with no issue. You never know. You could feed on one boob and pump the other and freeze the milk for a stash.

I don’t see why not. A lot of us pump two breasts at once so it’s the same concept.

Breast pump covered by insurance

I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.

babybump_user You may want to ask your doctor for a prescription for a hospital grade pump if you
may042017 I will be ordering the Medela Pump in Style. I'm pretty sure my insurance covers either that
babybump_user With my insurance I couldn't get one till after baby was born and it took forever to

I also got my prescription today for my breast pump 😍. I need to find a place where I can take the prescription to get the breast pump. 🤔

My son loves the bottle more than my breast 😫 he gets so fussy when I give him my breast but has no issue with with bottle. As long as his eating I’m okay with it. I’ve been pumping and I hate pumping!!

boymom_4 @symantha_chandler, 🤔 I’ll try it and see
mimixtmn This is the exact reason why pumping and bottle feeding isn’t recommended until after your supply is
2sweetie It’s recommended to wait at least 4 weeks before introducing a bottle for this exact reason. The
