At which point is everyone planning on starting their maternity? I’m trying to decide at the moment! Ideally I want as much time off with the baby as I can but I’m exhausted already and I’m only 19 weeks! I work with young children with autism and/or special needs so at times the job can be quite draining! This is my second so when I get home I’ve got my son to look after too and it’s just wiping me out!
I took mat leave 5 weeks before with my first as I work in a nursery and it's ten hour shifts it's so knackering, not sure about my second xx
I took all my holiday and went at the earliest day I could - I think I was around 24 weeks :) xx
I’m thinking 36 weeks too! The way I’m feeling at the moment I’d be surprised if I made it to that point tbh so we’ll see xx
I'm clocking off work for maternity on the 14th of June, due on the 19th of July, so pretty much a month before her due date. I'm very exausted and it's extremely hard work. I just want to earn as much money as I can whilst I'm still able x
I stopped at 35 weeks with our 2nd. I enjoyed it at the time but it was hard having to go back to work when he was 8months. It is hard when you have a physical job & another child so just see how you go. It's still early days. You may get your energy back again. Mine came and went lol
