I need advice so I’m supposed to get induced the 4th or the 11th but I get to choose that date and my mother lives in another state . The plan was for her to be here on the 11th to be her for my delivery but she hasn’t even bought tickets and is asking me to go for an induction date that Is later than what is even planned . I have very mixed emotions about this because of course o want her to be here but at the same time she is making it about her and it should be about me and my child . What would y’all do ?!?!

That's kind of a wide range so I'm guessing it isn't a medical induction. I would go with the 11th, but that doesn't mean baby will come then. You could go by yourself early or the induction could fail. It's never a for sure thing so don't schedule it around anyone else.
I would schedule it for the 11th and just hope she can make it!

Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Hello I am knew here. Im looking to make some new friends on here. My sister told me about her experience and meeting a new friend whom she feels like she has known forever. I am married and I work from home. I am also a college student. I have two boys and they are the best.
Uh it's not a nail appt, it's an induction! The Dr said latest the 11th she needs to be there the 11th. Period.
