She could be teething. My boys do that when they are teething

What is her overall intake daily? Don’t focus on each feed, but rather how many ounces in 24 hours. Also, does she have sufficient wet/dirty diapers?

Did she eat good in the hospital? I was telling my sister yesterday that she should try switching the nipples to a faster flow. Thats what I did to my baby recently because she was sucking it really hard. And my sisters baby eats like 1 oz here or 2 oz and she just turned 5 months old yesterday. So I told her to switch the nipple to see how she does.

@laniejay, her overall daily amount is around 24-27oz. But the past few days t went back down. but yes she totally has a lot of wet diapers

@d0iinjusfiin3, she was 7 weeks premature so she was in the NICU for 5 weeks due to feeding issues. but once she got the hang of it she never looked back and she went home within a week. She’s already on a size 3 nipple which is for 6+ months, i’m afraid to go to the size 4 I feel like that’s too fast haha. although her formula is thicker than most

Size 3 is rather large, I wouldn’t increase that. Sounds like her volume is fine. Is she on thickened feeds? Packing in extra calories will reduce volume.

@laniejay, yeah definitely won’t be going up a size. and nope but she’s on Alimentum and it’s definitely thicker. at least I think
