It’s like animal kingdom up in here. Everyone is trying to be a part of a pride or wolf pack. Lines are drawn with their urine to determine territories. (Group chats) When someone steps out alone all the hyenas come out of hiding to pounce and attack.

Dh went to urgent care with an allergic reaction to who knows what. His tongue and throat are swelling. I really do need support. 😞

Thanks you guys! He ate a salad with thousand island dressing, chia and flax seeds, and croutons. Baked salmon, an apple, an orange, and a banana. The only thing that stands out as an allergen is the salmon, but I've made it a million times before exactly the same way. I'll update when I know more.

New dressing? I swear they hide shit in dressing all the time.

Allergies can always develop even if there hasn't been a problem before 😞 hope he gets better quickly

@laniejay @yvelid He eats this same salad almost every day for lunch. He's not one to branch out.

He got an anti-inflammatory steroid shot and he said it helped the swelling. He's supposed to go to the er if it happens again in the night. The doctor thinks it might be the salmon even though it's a staple in our house. Our youngest son has a shellfish allergy, so I guess anything's possible.

That's so scary, I hope you guys can figure out what it was. Did you cook the salmon with anything different? Has he had any allergic reactions in the past to anything?

@k.rose I sprinkled parsley on top which I don't usually do, but he's had parsley before. Otherwise it was just some lemon, salt, and pepper. He's been working hard to lose weight so he's been really strict about documenting what he eats every day. He's never been allergic to any foods. He does have asthma and horrible seasonal allergies.

@yayacarrington that's really weird, could it have somehow been related to seasonal allergies???

@k.rose It's possible. He takes Zyrtec daily during the spring. It's definitely a mystery. We'll see how he does through the night. He's back home now.

@yayacarrington that's good he's home already, hopefully it doesn't happen again! My friend became allergic to certain fruits in her early 20s, but it didn't happen that badly/ quick.

How is your hubby?

People like them have issue at home but can't take their anger out with the corresponding persons so they vent it out on an app and act like high school bullies. A real woman doesn't have time to be arguing everyday about something. Yes a small argument or disagreement convo that goes on for a few texts is fine. But when you can go on and on and on, you have a problem. It's sad because that's childish and your kids need a grown woman for a mom not an idiot. I'm not perfect and sometimes argue online or whatever but when u do this every day? Like who's watching your kids while you're wasting time here instead of with them?

@laniejay He's better. Thank you for asking. I am driving him to work today just in case. There's a clinic in his building if anything goes wrong, but I think the worst is over.

@yayacarrington, phew. So scary. Anaphylactic allergies are no joke. I was so afraid on vacation, especially with the language barrier. I ate the same things repeatedly and didn’t dare to try too many new things.

@laniejay Yes! I bet it would be scary on vacation. Our youngest son is allergic to so many foods. Birthday parties are our biggest challenge right now.

@yayacarrington, I just made a post about this on the main feed. I’m saddened by the way some people treat each other. Let’s not forget our children are sponges and see what’s going on with mommy if they are sad. No one should be treated this way. And if u feel the need to treat others this way it says a lot about u and how u want to represent yourself. It’s a damn shame

@laniejay, I agree there’s so many ingredients in those dressings that we don’t even know what the hell they are!!

It’s really sad that this type of bullying is happening between adults. We are all parents trying to do what’s best for our children so we must lead my example!!

@yayacarrington, allergies change every 3 years. Maybe take him to an allergy doctor so he can get tested? I hope he’s doing better

@yayacarrington how's your husband doing? I developed a pinapple allergy in high school and have weird reactions to certain fruits at times that I never had before.

Thank you for checking in! He's doing much better. I drove him to work this morning just in case. There is a clinic in his office building if he needs it. I stayed up most of the night because I wanted to make sure he was ok, so I'm living off coffee today. I will make an allergist appointment for him soon.
