Will this place ever feel like B.B. and specifically r&r? I seriously cant deal with the main feed and something is missing in this channel. Do we all just like each other too much? Are we missing the occasional troll or outsider coming in with entertainment? Now that we have the Facebook group and our identities are revealed, are we too worried to be controversial? I miss B.B.!!!
I miss bb to. R&r was a special place. I love mom.life though. Hopefully as time goes on this can become more like r&r.
I feel like we can try our best to make it r&r, but it will never be the same. All apps and forums are smashed together on this channel, making it difficult for it to be like "home".
I think one of the issues is that only so many of us came to this app from B.B. and most new people are not going to join a group called “bumppadfolio”. Like, wtf is that? So it’s just us and we are pretty much no drama mama’s. Nice for advice, but not as good for gossip/entertainment 😂
I agree I think the name should be changed to raving and ranting so we get more traffic. @mom.life_usa
I think the blocking system is crazy around here. Someone disagrees and BAM they block you. Now you can't see their drama anymore.
I guess bb had a block feature also but I don't think it was used much. People with thin skin just block and complain non-stop.
I don't think this will ever feel like bb. The traffic is also pretty slow.
Anyone find other good apps to try? When I start trying to get pregnant again this won't have a tools I liked in pp and bb anyway.
A lot of people are hanging out in chats rather than interacting in the forums. If more people were on the posts then it would probably feel a little more like r&r.
@yayacarrington if its the posts I'm thinking of I can't believe you were blocked just for giving an opinion (a correct opinion at that) and being super civil about it. And I love how she said she doesn't block but blocks you anyways. Guess sound advice and opinions are block worthy now.
@cak1985 Yes, she ended up blocking me. And someone just blocked me a minute ago because she was bashing BB moms calling us all rude. I asked why she was hating on all of us just because she had a few bad experiences. Apparently, I crossed a line with that question...

I miss B.B. too. I don’t really like this app. I’m confused half the time. I thought people were private but I can still see their posts!! I’m just confused and usually stay in the chats

Everyone is so sensitive. No one can spell or use punctuation, people post asking questions then block you for answering and no one knows what full term is!!

I think you ladies are forgetting that bb has been around for a number of years, so regulars knew each other or were at least familiar with their stories and usernames for years. It was to the point where some of us were friends with admins (in the sense that we anticipated posts about their farm animals, for example). This app hasn't been around long enough, So when you've gotten used to a community like bb, and then join a community which is basically bb in it's infancy, of course it's not going to feel the same. Bb when it first started was very much like this. Except we couldn't do photo comments, tag each other, have separate group chats or swear. These are basically all the things we asked for.
