Who all are missing the half moons on your nails? I only have them on my thumbs? And very tiny ones on my index finger. Should I be worried about it? Just seeing how common it is after a pin that I seen lol.

Oh noooo. Lol. I only have them on my thumbs too. I also have no thyroid problems. But I am a carrier, I have beta thalassemia (anemic).

- Also, be careful what you find on Wikipedia, I used to go and answer questions super wrong back when I was young, dumb, and bored in high school 🤦🏻♀️ 😅
- I’m joking. I’m a kidder. But if you’re truly concerned. ссылка
As far as the Chinese medicine thing goes, I am missing all but thumbs, and I am anemic.. sooooo..... to each their own 🙃
- How urgently ? 😰💀
I also had my thyroid tested and mine is fine too. I think it's just another myth
@flamingomom my aunt had thyroid problems (had to have surgery) and had nails exactly like the ones pictured. I dont think it actually matters, tbh. Nails do different things for different diseases sometimes, but the moon thing has been scarepost fodder for decades lol
@flamingomom, according to my blood work my thyroid doesn’t have problems lol but I don’t have moons except on my thumbs
I believe the absence of moons is related to thyroid problems
I have them on a few of my fingers not all of them but they're more prominent on my thumbs.
I've just barely begun to get those. Because I bit my nails for so long, they never got a chance to grow out lol
This is what I found on Wikipedia
🤔 Weird
@headphone that's so weird I wonder why lol
I only have it on my thumbs 🤷🏻♀️
