Yeah I have heard a lot of people that bleed like that and it wasn't a good choice for them. I haven't had a period since I gave birth 2 months ago but didn't stop postpartum bleeding completely until 5 weeks. Just got the nexplanon a week ago and started back to work at the same time i am waiting to see how it effects me but so far so good. They said since I didn't bleed with the depo I may not but the hormone is a little different then the shot so it may be a different situation but I'm ready for whatever. I have been on the depo right after my 20 yr old for 4 years and nothing happened till I got pregnant with my second a few months afterwards and again after my 2 yr old and didn't get pregnant right away I wanted something that lasted longer and I didn't have to go see the doctor that often for so I made the choice not caring what the pros cons or complications may be.

I did the shot last time and got the nexplanon this time. I read up on all the side effects and the risks and I made the choice to be fine with them. Every birth control has side effects and pros and cons. I can never remember to take a pill myself so I either get the shot ( which stops my periods but isnt everyone's situation) and I'm yet to see what the nexplanon does but I know I don't want anymore children and I check it every day just because.

Avoid anything that’s has estrogen in it!! I use the mini pill which is a progestin only pill and safe during breastfeeding.

@tiffanyhawkins41418 I'm sorry to hear that. I've heard so many things about the iud too bit every birth control affects women differently
