Would it be dumb for me to take CNA classes right after my babies born? My c section is scheduled for the 21st and classes start the first week of June but it’s only for like 4-6 weeks I think Monday-Thursday. I went back to classes after my first after only two weeks but I wasn’t all day like these classes are. Opinions and please no bashing.

I would check with the school. When I did it they were very strict on missing any classes and you never know what will happen plus they teach you how to lift properly and you may not be up for that. Especially if you have a c section.

I just think we should give ourselves and baby at least 6 weeks to adjust, bond, heal, etc. I personally wouldn't schedule anything until then...but you have to do what you feel is best. I just advise to not be to hard on yourself and the baby. Those classes aren't going anywhere. I hope everything works out luv @capricorn_mommy_14
I found another one at a college near by that doesn’t start til June 11th til July 22nd @angelfoodcake, @ailurophiliac, @leslyev92, and it goes right past my aunts house who usually babysits my other daughter while I’m in class
I think you should wait and take the next class. That's just to much so soon after a c section.
I would give yourself time. Not only for you to recuperate but you will have a newborn at home, which you’ll have to tend to when you get home from school. I wouldn’t over do it if I were you but if you feel like you got it, go for it mama!
I truly think you should wait for the next offering. You might still be on painkillers and they might effect your thought process which might effect your classwork. Not to mention bonding with your baby, I know it would put me into a depressive state to have to leave my newborn that early. Not to mention if you have complications, the incision gets infected, etc you will absolutely be in no shape. Hate to be a downer. It is your choice though :) and if you can deal, more power to you.
A girl I know who just told me she finished the same program that the first two weeks were basically all lectures

There's alot of bending and moving for that type of work, right? I guess it all depends on your healing... I know you can not take CNA courses during pregnancy. Wait, this May 21 and then first week of June, honestly I don't think you will be up for it...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

Ladies what was your work schedule like while pregnant? I work 40 hours a week & have only 2 days off a week . Should I cut my hours back ?
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
I think it would be a great idea that’s if your body doctor and baby is okay with it!!! I’m also a CNA and took classes while pregnant with my first daughter 13 years ago💕Your making a career for you and baby but it’s your choice wishing you luck😘
