How to Balance Family Duties and Mother's Day?
I just need to vent ladies I know I’m doing the right thing but it’s still tough
So unfortunately my SO father passed and now we need to fly down to Texas and do all the cremation and transportation proceses not to mention legal processes. However I will probably not be back by Mother’s Day or be gong back late on Mother’s Day and it’s the first year I’m officially a mother last year I was still pregnant and I won’t be able to spend it with my son or even my own mother because I’m leaving my son with my mom and dad so he doesn’t have to be there for the process not to mention it would be harder on us too. Ugh like I said i know I’m doing the right thing supporting the man i love when he needs me but it’s still tough and I feel like the only place I can vent and him not see it is here so thank you ladies for taking the time to read this .

There will be many more mother's days to come, it sucks a little but I'm sure you can all do something special when all that is done with
Just because that's the "official day" doesn't mean it needs to be celebrated that day, got to make our own time when someone we love needs us.

It's hard to be everything at one time. You're doing a great job . He needs you ( whether he says it or not), and I'm sure you will still have a great mother's day. EVERYDAY IS MOTHER'S DAY !! I have to celebrate mother's day tomorrow cause I'll be at work all day Sunday ! 🙄
I know it may suck to not be spending mother's day with your mom and son, but you have many more mother's days to celebrate. Your SO lost his dad and he needs you. It's not like he can do this another time. I know it sucks, but you can celebrate your mother's day on a different day as well.
