I use the fitted sheet but not the other one. I get tangled in it and then I freak out cause I feel trapped

My husband hates sheets and I cannot sleep without them lol so I lay on a comforter and have a separate blanket and he sleeps straight on the mattress 😲 Idk why but not only do I think it's uncomfortable I find it disgusting.
