First time mom here, I know when laying down your not suppose to lay on your back at least that’s what I’ve heard but after laying on both my sides my hips end up hurting really bad is there any way I can lay to either help or relieve the pain in my hips?
@happyhappyjoyjoy09, your not supposed to the farther along you get because the weight of your uterus and baby can compress your major blood vessels. Which restricts blood flow to baby, can cause shortness of breath, dizziness, and affect your blood pressure. But mind you this is laying like straight flat on your back. If you need to lay on your back use pillows to either prop one hip up so you are slightly tilted. Or multiple pillows so that you are kinda sitting up a little more.
I find it so uncomfortable to lay on my side by the middle of my second trimester. I bought this giant pregnancy pillow and add a couple pillows under my head and it's the best thing ever.
I had the same issue but I have always had problems with my hips. I ended up on my back every night for the last few weeks without even trying that’s how I woke up bc it would be so bad like someone was ripping my hip attached to my leg right off my body I know I toss and turned a lot my doctor never told me that I couldn’t lay on my back
Try pillows in between your legs or heating pad
I’ve been told I can use a pillow to prop myself up a bit so I can lay on my back for bits of time and rotate positions
Am I the only one that has horrible pains in my hips while I sleep it's horrible I can never lay on one side longer than 30 minutes 🤦🏽♀️
Anyone still lay on their back past 20 weeks? And have anterior placenta..
I lay on my sides mostly but then it hurts my hips and now I have red stretch marks on my hips where I lay. Laying on my back with my head up a little, I don't feel dizzy or lightheaded or anything
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
