Needing tips on how to start potty train my 18 month old boy.
He doesn’t talk, so he can’t tell me when he needs to go. 😓 he keeps taking off his diaper & managed to pee all over the carpet & I can’t get a carpet cleaner until Friday 😭
Can’t do fruit loops or anything like bc he will start playing in the toilet 🤣

I'm currently potty training my 19m . I agree patience and also consistency . You'll feel like a parrot asking him every 5 minutes or so but it will help him understand. Take him when you THINK he needs to go. Going commando works for us because pullups confuses him (were working on using undies now ) I make up songs and do lots and lots of praises for any and everything. Even if he sits on the potty but don't pee the little things counts. When he has an ACCIDENT quickly get him to the toilet/potty and reenforce that's WHERE WE PEE /POO.

@crai, I know he isn’t ready to be fully potty trained. But here lately been taking his diaper off & trying to use the bathroom. My bedroom smells like straight up pee now bc he peed in the floor lol. I know he’s just a baby. So I’m being patient with him

I need some advice my babies father gets really mad when he drinks liquor. He woke me up and started a big argument about the thermostat he completely destroyed the room and choked me this is the 2nd time he has done this. I'm going to church today and I'm not sure of what to do when he starts calling and texting to talk to me because he realized he messed up. I need some advice and solutions to help the problem.
Dog rant! We’ve had our large dog for 10 years. For the most part he was an outside dog until a year or so ago. He would go crazy ( bite the door and start bleeding to come in.) I have allergies so I’m not a dog person. We bought a huge kennel this fit him comfortably so he can stay inside for the most part. He did good, that lasted a year until a few months ago he’d go crazy and do the same thing to get out of the cage. My husband bought 2 large sections of carpet for the 2 living rooms. While we are home we is behaved and stays on either carpet. My 16 year old and myself let him out several times a day. With that being said when we are asleep or gone he pisses and craps on my expensive area carpet and sometimes our rugs and tile. I’m going crazy because no matter what I do I smell piss and I’m so grossed out. My 5 year old plays on these floors! My husband and son can live like this but I can’t! I’m going to start working soon and he cannot be home range free . We’ve had him so long and I’m gonna be the bad guy if I surrender him.
The husband has a work thing tomorrow, someone he doesn’t know is retiring and they’re having a party. He just started a new job few weeks ago. He can’t be the guy that doesn’t bring anything but eats 2 plates… so here we go starting a cake at 9:38pm. Everyone’s in bed, I’m going to turn on some 2000s pop, pour another glass of wine and bake!
Trying to figure out a way to tell my husband he needs to not get on the computer for videogames until the kids are in bed, without it starting an argument.

Sounds weird but put the potty in the living room and let him be naked for a few days! My son started this at 1 and was completely trained in no time. He first would only poop in there but then got the hang of peeing too. It worked out well. He’s 2 now and night and day potty trained.
