@colh416 your welcome dear. I've never had to go through this so I'm not to familiar with how to handle this kind of situation but if I did thats probably how I'd handle it.

@colh416 I totally understand. maybe next time you can just find a way to politely tell your mom that she did her job raising you and she obviously did a good job because you yourself a great mother and you've got this!!! Or take your mom's advice don't let her take a nap and then when she starts getting all cranky and whiny and driving you nuts drop her off with your mom and say hey this was your idea see you later have fun, LOL.

@mommiesaremagical14 yea exactly that's why I still want to make sure I try to put her down for a nap like I usually do because I don't want to be stuck with a cranky baby and it be too late for a nap

@honeywax yea that's how we are to plus for some reason I always go to bed later I guess I just like to do what I want like watch tv and stuff because all day long I'm doing stuff with the baby

Seriously, even I need naps on the weekend. 🤷‍♀️ we're just a sleepy family. But then again, we're always on the go and physically active, so it makes up for it.

My oldest is 3 and I still pray for him to nap 😴 I don’t get why someone would want to rush them out of it , naps keep mommas sane!

@rachel1029 lol yea that's good I like that I can clean and g3t things done when my daughter naps and just thinking she won't soon makes me think I will have to get everything I need done at night

@katemarie that's what I was think that I still had a ways to go everybody knows there own kid the best my mom just needs to relax

My 6 year old will still nap on the weekends if there is time. That’s ludicrous

My 1yr old NEEDS 3 naps a day and sleeps through the night. He is out of control without at least one nap

@colh416 no, shes definitely going to still need them. My dd is 4 and she has her days when shes tired buy 11am so she'll nap for an hour or if i know we are going to have a long busy day I'll have her take a nap. Otherwise come 3-4pm shes cranky and miserable but its too late for a nap.

@mommiesaremagical14 o ok that's what I was thinking when my mom said my daughter problay wouldn't nap anymore I was thinking to myself that some people her 3 yr olds that take naps like I dont think she is stopping her nap just yet

My dd is for and still takes naps 2-3 times a week. She stpped taking 2 naps a day at 1 year old. Then cut down to a few naps a week at 3 years old.

@roguemommyofjx3 o ok well that's good at least she would nap with you both that way you could get some rest to hopefully my daughter will be like that when I eventually give her a sibling hopefully sooner then later

My 1 year old stopped napping but then when her sister was born she started napping with us.
