What age do you guys recommend to Switch Crib to toddler bed? My son is 16 months right now

We havent bought a toddler bed but my oldest one 14 months has been sleeping with me since 13 months and he just started climbing off my bed the other day so he will get a toddler bed very very soon, he never liked his crib to begin with I guess he doesnt like to be confined lol

We switched at 2.5 years old. Don’t do it too early otherwise you will have to deal with your baby getting out of bed. There’s no way I would’ve done it at 16 months, but that’s me.

My son kept climbing out and sleeping with me before he was 1 so I dumped the crib and let him sleep with me then after my youngest was born in feb he ditched me for his bed and he just turned 3 now he never wants me lol
