Advice on safe foods while pregnant. I have been wanting chicken salad sandwiches, I was wondering if anyone has heard if it's safe or unsafe during pregnancy.

I had chicken salad sandwiches. They were homemade and I boiled the chicken with onions and garlic and when it cooled I shred the chicken added veggies and mayo.
I think the only thing to really look into when eating is sushi (sea food), just make sure it's cooked and lunch meat but I sometimes don't heat it for my sandwhiches lol.

Sushi is safe to eat in pregnancy. Asian cultures have done it for years. You just want to avoid fish high in mercury and the fish eggs they put on top.
