You can be racist towards the race of your friends. You can be racist towards your own race. You can be racist towards the race of your family. You can be racist towards the race of your spouse. You can be racist towards the race of your kids. Your racism doesn't just stop being racism because 'X' is said race. Racism is Racism. Thanks for coming to this very well needed TedTalk.

Can you guys post pics of your cute babies in my comments😩😩 I seriously can't wait to have my son.
Happy Saturday Ladies, Our first Baby Registry Gift Exchange was a huge success and we wanted to see if there was interest in starting a new one. Like a “Secret Santa” game for Preggies, everyone who participated was given a secret member to gift from their registry. We made the matches and provided the details. If you are interested, please leave your name in the comments. If you’ve already had your baby or don’t have a registry, you can still play, just give us some ideas on what gift you’d like. We will post in the week as well to make sure we have a good group, and then we will message you next steps. Can’t wait! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Take care, Preggie_USA

I’ll never understand these baby showers. I do feel if you’ve already had a child and had a baby shower that it shouldn’t be expected again. There’s only so much other people can buy for your subsequent children.
My husband and I provided everything for our children so I suppose I just don’t get it.
Is this a U.S thing?

I have never had one ever.

I provide for my kids but I've been on bed rest and all the money I had saved up went to making sure my kids had a roof over their heads and food. And other stuff they need until I can go back to work

@tattedmommy2018, I don’t see the problem then, if it’s the done thing and you’ve not had one before I can’t see why others are opposed to it. Some people ask for all the expensive stuff on their registries like pushchairs, cots etc which I think puts people off.
Can you arrange your own baby shower and just accept what or if they buy anything? Look at it like a big get together rather than what they will buy you?
In the U.K. friends and relatives tend to buy once the baby is born. Things like a teddy, baby grows, rattled, teething rings or nappies, we don’t have many baby showers that I know of but they are becoming more popular. I wouldn’t ever have one because of the expectation that surrounds them, I’d probably feel cheeky writing a list of items I want people to buy me.
I hope you get one though and enjoy it :)
