Is it possible my son is drinking the milk my newborn will need when he’s born? I’m 38.2 weeks pregnant & I’m still nursing my 2 year old son. It’s more for his comfort, which is at night & when he’s ready for his midday nap. My milk is starting to come back in & I didn’t think of this question until now....

He will be drinking some but your body should keep up with what they both need. It will be tiring for you mostly.

If youve been comfort nursing during pregnancy this isn't an issue. And I sense even then it's probably not an issue.
Your newborn will get extra colostrum after birth and since you already have a supply, you won't need to worry about waiting for it to come in.
