@jtaylorg I finially bought a big one, too! I used to use 8oz bottles to premake milk for my mom, and it'd take forever and had so much more to clean, now I got a bigger one and it makes it so fast and easy!

@halifax6, ugh I know! I actually just pre made a big container of the powder and fortified it and put it in the fridge hoping it’ll get a little thicker in there. It’s easier to mix it in a bigger container too so i’m gonna add some vanilla to it and start with maybe every other feeding using the pre made powder so she can get extra calories for at least a few feedings a day

@halifax6, oh right I remember you telling me you used that! I tried to use the powder formula and fortify it and just couldn’t get over the smell😲 there’s no way I can use it lol

@jtaylorg he's still on the gerber soothe. He seems to do well on it. I'm glad she doesn't seem like she's in pain! That's a really plus!

@jtaylorg I hope she takes it! That sucks it smells so bad. I don't even notice mine smells until he burps in my face lol my ratio was 5.5 oz 3 scoops. How's she doing on the new formula?

@halifax6, oh no way that’s a big gain! Did you fortify by doing less water when mixing? I think the ratio he gave me was 3.5oz of water to 2 level scoops of formula. Sucks because the powder smells SOOO bad I refused to give it to her so she’s on the ready to feed but I can’t fortify it so I have to try the powder again and add the vanilla for taste

I had to fortify Deacons from 2 month visit to three month and he gained almost 3lbs. I'm afraid after stopping, he won't have gained enough. But we'll see at his 4month.

@halifax6, I expected her to be 10 😑 He expected 9.5 but says she’s still on track. but he wants her to be 10.5 at her next appointment in a month. He told me how to fortify her formula to make it more calories and said I can add vanilla to it to make it taste better cuz her formula is nasty

@jtaylorg yep! I just bought some new footed sleepers and they are a little bit baggy. Some 3 month stuff fits, some doesn't. He's at least 11 lbs now though, but he's still small.

I agree with the 0-3 month clothes. I get most of my stuff from target. They are still a little big on Deacon, but they are better than being too tight.
