Mamas I need some advice. My daughter just turned six months. She’s been a perfect sleeper and would always fall asleep nursing. Starting a few days ago she literally is a nightmare to sleep. I mean won’t nap to the point of exhaustion, is off schedule that she had and takes over an hour of getting to sleep at night vs the 15min it would take before. I’m at a loss for words idk what is going on. She does this thing where she pulls her blanket over her head and kicks and whales her body around making noises after she eats like a burst of energy when I know damn well she’s sooo tired. Anyone have any suggestions? Time for sleep training? Ps I know nursing to sleep is a bad habit
@kirstynnicole yeah she's not quite ready yet
@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, I literally just started today. Small amount of cereal for lunch but she doesn’t really know how to eat like that, she doesn’t understand to swallow it she just moves it in her mouth and is more interested in grabbing the spoon lol so we have a little ways till she can eat enough to fill her up
@itsdestyn, yes I think I’m going to try winding her down earlier and doing a longer bedtime routine by adding bath at night. It used to wake her up rather than calm her down but that’s because it was all so new to her and she was learning to splash and play but now that she knows I think it could possibly help calm her down. I’ll try that thank you
could easily be seperation anxiety also look up wonder weeks tht also has alot to do w sleep.. but my son is the same(mostly) n its def seperation anxiety
@kirstynnicole try putting her in a bouncer during the day that vibrates and plays music, that might help with the napping. Have you started her on solids yet? A fuller tummy could help her sleep better at night
Baths and lotion with lavender then white noise music and nurse?
@karensmommy, yes she just had her first one pop out possibly another one coming. I think it’s that and a growth spurt too because Her behavior is changing too. This is all so new to me so I get worried about things like her not sleeping. But it’s also stressful when I don’t get any me time. We will get through this, thank you!
@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, yes! She’s been in her own little schedule for months and I got so used to it lol. But with her not napping I can’t get anything done and it’s exhausting for me as well since I have no help 😞 hopefully we get over this soon. I think I may have to start sleep training, but I’m just so lost how to even do that. She sleeps with us in bed still
She may just be going through a growth spurt, babies change their routine when that happens. Whenever my son went through one I just had to change the routine around his new schedule and work with it, there was a lot of compromising lol.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
I posted the day before yesterday about my friend.. & well....... her fiancé came over, AND she came alone 😐 we eat sit around and after awhile my husband takes him to the back & the next thing I know he’s coming in the house with a weird look on his face, asking her if there was something he should know, I instantly gets up just in case someone turns into a maniac....... well long story short he cried & told her how disloyal she is & how disappointed he was.. she’s crying asking me why would I ...

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Sounds like a regression. :(
