I realized yesterday that I have a clogged duct in my breast and that’s why she gets so frustrated when she tries to nurse. When I pumped for 20 minutes last night to start unclogging it, this came out. Has anyone else had something like this happen to them?

@lavender13, a clogged duct? I went from pumping 3-5 oz. at a time from both breasts to only pumping 2 from both breasts. They also got so engorged that it was painful. My boob got really hot and I felt a huge lump in it too. I looked up ways to help unclog the duct and when I started doing it, I got that bloody mucus and the swelling went down.
@emileemoreland5, much better! There was an instant relief. Hopefully my supply will pick back up really soon too. Im making enough for her, but I’m used to having a lot more to store.
