I only want my SO and kids at the hospital for delivery and no visitors before 10am or after 8pm, if at all. Only care to see my SO and kids, but also don’t want people coming to my house either which is why I’m just setting a list and hours. Is that selfish? Idk why I’m so disconnected and private this time around.
@memybumpandi, if he stopped buying his friends and paid more attention to his wife and kids, she wouldn’t have left him and he wouldn’t be lonely..🤷🏼♀️
@schuldiesa, oh he knows, I’m not shy about it! But all it does is cause a fight every time I say anything bc “he helps us out a lot” still my kid, my rules, and I’m enforcing them this time.
@alycia_marie oh my gosh! That sounds horrible! Does your SO know how you feel? Maybe he can talk to his friend. That's way too much!
@schuldiesa, @memybumpandi, I don’t even think my SO’s family will even come up bc they don’t like nor do I care. But if they want to there will be set times so we can rest and adjust. I have very little family close by so they’ll prob contact me first anyways. Our biggest problem will be my SO’s “best friend” who in very invasive. We lived in another state when our last son was born and we got home from the hospital, not even for an hour yet, and he was knocking on our door and stayed for 4 days! Call us first, come visit for an hour at the hospital and call it a day. I refuse to have people stay at my house while adjusting to a newborn. Not even my mother will be doing that.
I'm considering the same thing! I want me and my SO to be able to bond with out baby before people start coming in and taking her. So I definitely don't think you're being selfish.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@alycia_marie, LOL! Cant argue with that!
