We can’t find anything to rent in this town! Everything is 1,000-2,000 because of oils field and welders. My husband is a construction worker and he doesn’t even make that much. We can’t afford to pay 1,000-2,000 and if we go through a company we can’t rent anything without a check stub.

**VENTING*** I have been a stay at home mom for 9 months and I absolutely HATE IT! I want a job, I need to get out of this house. but we can't afford 800$ daycare each month on top of 1,000$ rent. I'm losing it and my husband is too. I have no idea what to do. we cant live off one paycheck. but I can't work without childcare, but if we can't afford childcare than how am I suppose to work?! I'm so lost.
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
So we have no food in our house and no money so whatever we had I let my husband and kids eat. I'm so hungry. I haven't eaten since yesterday. I wish we weren't so behind on rent. Next week we have to pay our phone bill and the week after we have to pay rent again. I'm so sick on not being able to have food in our home.

We lived in Odessa and about a year ago paid 1300 for a 1 bedroom apartment. We needed a 2-3 bedroom and that was going to be 1600. It was a luxury apartment. But we decided if we're going to pay that much for an apartment we will just get a house. He's in oil field too, he's the manager and makes good money but damn it's so expensive to live in a place where it's nothing but oilfield.😑

I rent a 2 bedroom house in Oklahoma for $400. Paying anywhere close to $1,000 in rent is so fucking crazy and stupid.

@rikki. Lucky. Houses over here are run down and trashy. And they're still expensive. It's just expensive because of the oilfield. There's really no choice lol it sucks!🙃

@coffee_is_the_new_black, @rikki., the houses where we live are trashy no good ones for rent. There is a company here called amistad properties and they rent anywhere from a 1-3 bedroom house from 900-1,600 the houses are pieces of crap. Not worth living in
