Any advice for a first time mom whose baby is colic?

They make drops made for babies who had colic. Also my cousin had colic and they literally wore her so much because that's what made her better I dont know how you are feeding but if you are formula feeding I think they make a formula for colicy babies

Is your baby formula fed or breastfed? I found out my son’s issues were due to a dairy sensitivity.

Little Tummies gripe water or Mylicone

White noise machine, vacuum cleaner, box fan, any kind of white noise!!

I’ve heard a lot about daily probiotic drops by mommy bliss.. my family has used them and swears by them. I will be using them to help ease and prevent colic!

Try doctor brown bottles, and ones i switched to Enfamil Gentlelease everything turned around and he started to do his nights

@lulu85_18, He’s breastfed. I’ve thought about that possibility, but not sure how to determine if it’s true or not.

@miaheka have you talked to your sons pedi about it? I had a friend who's baby who colicy and she turned out to have a cows milk allergy so her mom stopped diary and that helped

@mommytotheo, Yeah, he wasn’t very helpful at all. We mentioned he might be colic and all he said was “yeah, might be” and then started laughing. I’m going to mention it to him again at his 1 month check up next week, and if he still does nothing then I’ll have to look for another pediatrician for Bellamy. We started going to this guy because he was my SO’s pediatrician, but if he’s going to continue to act like nothing is wrong then I’d rather find a different pediatrician who actually cares. 😓

@miaheka if your going to put him to sleep on his belly make sure its on your chest. Thats how my daughter slept and I also propped her up at night.

Omg I remember when Coraline had that. Gas drops were a huge help.. even the off brand. Tylenol as well but not much and not as often. Also lady her on her back and massage her lower back gently. Go on YouTube and look up how to relieve gas from a baby. They have certain techniques. I used to take Coraline's legs and do a bicycle motion and she would let out gas and i knew she felt better.
