trying not to cry until baby is asleep but it’s a struggle. been thinking of giving up breastfeeding. just give formula n go back to smoking n drinking wine.
@lavender13, true that. you can always message me. and i agree, i drank a lot before pregnancy and i had the craving the whole 9 months, it disgusted me but habits are habits.
@boymamachronicles, im trying but old habits are just hard to break. only thing stopping me before was being pregnant. i’ll try to hold out until i can get medicine hopefully
there's other ways to cope mama. i can recall 5 times that i sniffled and cried while nursing my son, wiping tears off his arm, him waking up every time i inhaled deep choking on my breath. sometimes i just needed to take a shower and cry. go outside, breath in the fresh air and cry. sometimes that's all we can do, emotions can be bottled up but they can't stay that way. it's okay to cry. and if you want to stop breastfeeding for your usual ways of coping, please do, you're thinking of your baby first and that's great mama. do what's best for you, there's therapy, there is medication, and there's also us on mom.life that you can talk to. no promises it'll change your life but we can help.
Do you have someone to talk to have you spoken with your doctor these feelings are very normal after birth my inbox is always open I may not know much but I will be a listening ear if you need to talk
